Two ‘Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests’ in Youghal in two days

On Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 the Emergency Services were called to a local restaurant in Youghal, Co. Cork, where a gentleman had suffered a Cardiac Arrest. Thanks to the swift actions of  a local Fisherman, two off duty Paramedics and two Gardaí who began the life saving 'Chain of Survival' by starting CPR and delivering a shock from the nearest communal Defibrillator that was located at the Youghal Post Office.
